This provocation emerged from a reflective dialogue between Nisha Poulose and Leon Seefeld about the publication of the book “Bioregional Financing Facilities – Reimagining Finance to Regenerate Our Planet” of which Leon is a co-author. The book makes a case for establishing a new layer of the global financial architecture that becomes the connective tissue between financial resources and on-the-ground regenerators. While the book takes a needed look at what is required to ‘add’, this provocation provides a view that is alternative in some ways and complementary in others, by placing the focus on what might be important to ‘remove’.
