Bioregional Health Framework & Bioregional Observatory

The Bioregional Health Framework is a foundational concept note and strategic guide designed to help bioregional teams co-create their own place-based health metrics and establish a localized Bioregional Observatory. Rather than offering a rigid, one-size-fits-all measurement system, this tool provides the structural blue-print and sense-making platform needed to define, track, and support regional health according to the unique ecological, social, and cultural conditions of a specific landscape.

By establishing a shared vocabulary and operational model, the framework empowers local communities, practitioners, and regional leaders to collaborate on designing custom intelligence infrastructures. It serves as a starting point for territory-based teams to align capital flows, strengthen commons governance, and build collective capacity for ongoing bioregional regeneration.
